Why does Trottie interfere so much when he is on the pitch leave that to the captain he's the man in charge until half time. It really seems to affect our defensive play with his bickering.

If Trotty can pass on his considerable experience to those around him it can only help. There should be 11 captains out there.

Trotty is just that kind of guy I suppose. I really cant see the harm in it to be honest.

Whoever is made captain can use his vocals midfield onwards & Trotty can do similar at the back. Just so long as there are no arguments on the field amongst them,as there have been in the past then I cant see any harm coming out of it.If they are all vocal then they are all on their toes & up for it surely. So long as its not destructive or personal & dosent affect the flow of the game or others attitudes then its fine by me.

There were 8/9 'captains' in that side all ovver the pitch with Martin Johnson the leader of leaders.

 

Now with an inexperienced team, Martin Corry has no supporting players to help him with the leadership.

 

Like most others suggest-lets have leaders all over the pitch
