ETFC's run in consists of 6 games 5 of which are against the bottom 5 clubs.

Of the teams challenging for play off place we are the team in form and only Maldon, of the challengers, can say that they also are in decent form. On this basis 2nd place is a real possibility and a game on the 5th May should be almost a certainty.

Unlike last season when we lost form on the run in we seem to have hit our touch at just the right time.

Off course this can all go haywire as the teams at the bottom fight to avoid relegation whilst mid table teams go into cruise mode as they contemplate next season.

In todays Green un (East Anglian football paper ) Maldon claim to have passed the ground inspection.....and are ready to play in the Ryman Premier next season. However rumours keep circulating round here, that there will be no Maldon within 2 years as they will merge with Heybridge.

where did you get that info from ,surely the second placed club gets a Bye ........Waltham Forest in the play offs ? a team thats watched by a handful of people would be a waste.

If this is the case, I wonder why Havant & Waterlooville weren't offered the final play-off spot in last season's Conference South play-offs after Lewes failed on ground suitability?!
