I see on BBC Teletext today that we are due to be playing Sittingbourne away on 19th July - I thought we were playing Purfleet away that day, according to an earlier thread ??

Or is that a day we are playing 2 games ?

The Sittingbourne match is a reserve team fixture.

Daz's involvement would have to be in a purely management capacity, his career was cruelly ended by a savage challenge "down the field" having a kick about with his son. He could have been a contender you know, the next Cliff Cant.

I wither and die if I go anywhere near Sittingbourne. It's an old gypsy curse or something.

On the subject of Sittingbourne and players, i think Neil Emblen was released by Wolves..Would be a coup if he dropped 3 divisions to play for us !!

I think Emblen was on loan at Walsall. Don't know if he stayed or not.
