Good mate great start for first season at this level especially considering that Stony have been struggling for few seasons now. Yeah decent away point shame we couldn't hang on to all 3 couple more signed on tues and few more hopefully due including two proven goal scorers so if we get them in things might start to improve sooner rather than later

Haha. Nick Seems like a good lad and does a good job in defensive midfield role if he can get fitter he'd be very decent

Tuesday 16th October

FA CARLSBERG VASE First Round Proper Replay

0-1 Hanwell Town v Oxhey Jets

I thought it would go to extra time but it was one of those games that you knew would end 1 0 to either team. For me our defenders were our best players and that say it all really.

No wins in five for us now we need to bounce back with a win this Saturday. But i must say in our last five games all our players have tried hard and battled hard to try and get a win.

Well deserved win for Berko on tuesday against a good attacking Hadley team. Could have been another 4-4 but for some fine saves from both keepers. Great interception from the ref to start the move for the opening goal but it wasnt until late that the nerves were settled with Bunker breaking through the defence and slotting the ball past their keeper to make it 2-0. Southern Manor next, an unknown quantity, at least its home.

I hear Nick Crossley back with you. Seemed a good guy and always played well for us.
