Not so much the players, but the 800 t&*^$"s that leave after 80 minutes. Fair enough, it was our worst display of the season, but how can the players play knowing the so-called 'fans' dont have faith in them?? Credit to the 250 SUPPORTERS who stayed until the final whistle (myself one of them).

WHY SHOULDNT THE SO CALLED 800 LEAVE EARLY . WE KEEP WATCHING THE SAME CRAP FROM ONE WEEK TO THE NEXT. ONE GAME WE ARE GREAT THE NEXT UTTER RUBBISH. I THOUGHT WE WERE BAD AGAINST NORTHWICH AWAY BUT THIS JUST ABOUT SOMES IT UP.DONT GET ME WRONG I WILL BE THEIR WEEK IN WEEK OUT BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE THE SAME SPIRIT WE SHOWED IN THE SECOND HALF AGAINST EXETER. WE NEED A PROVEN GOAL SCORER UP FRONT.

Very true.
But even when we are winning there are people who leave before the end.

Will you stay if we're 2-1 up against Notts County, playing brilliantly, with 6 minutes to go? Yeah? Thought so...

Hats off to the Plough End Boys to DID stay to the end and were singing 'Gravesend 'Til I Die' after the final whistle, even though we were stuffed. Respect.

Me too, usually the drummer is but wasnt today. So we are usually able to get more people singin 'Gravesend Til I die' at the end for longer also a few other songs. As it was we couldnt so we did our best to sing without the drummer at the end.

Don't worry about those who left early but the ones who wont come back next time. For my part I stayed until the bitter end but have no gripes about the early leavers as I see it as a protest against the manager and his poor strategy on the day. Why pesist with Abbey when he was totally overwhelmed by their defence? The fact is he was just too small and out of his depth. Why take off Own when what we needed on the day was the big strong men pushing up front.

OK just checking as the question in reply to me was 'will you.....'.

I thought it was intended to be a generalisation, but thought that I would check! lol

Which is worse - those leaving early or those that stayed earlier in the season chanting Ford out?

Maybe we should all be under the influence when watching the 'Fleet'.

They'd certainly be more entertaining.

Being an outcast in the land where they call the noble game, "soccer"", for the last 3 years,i may be accused of leaving before the end. It seems this sort of behaviour happens anytime that the team has a bad run, and the club relies on the "Faithful Few".This will always happen.....so get used to it. All you can do is remain and moan or leave....and moan. Until The Fleet get moneymen in and buy ex-league players it will continue. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

What if 800 left before the end of the game those same 800 help put money into the till and it was not that long ago that we would have all had to leave, come back in, leave again and again just to make 800. But still, arguing about those that left will inspire the team no end. as far as I am concerned let them leave as long as they have paid remember the club needs to go full time get the money in the till and bring your mates

I think everyone is entitled to their opionion. If venting that means leaving 10 mins before the end then so be it. After Saturday's performance the only amazing thing is that they managed to last 80mins.
