The offical site says they have sold Dave Theobold for an undisclosed fee to Kettering Town, seems a real shame, i wish him all the luck for the future.

An undisclosed fee MIGHT mean that the offer was too good to refuse! Remember Bertie Brayley? I would've sold him for half of what we got!

Theo did well for us. An unsung hero but feel he got made the scapegoat for our defeat to Gravesend.

Wonder if Gazza is flashing the cash already at Kettering.

Best of luck to Dave - didn't do to bad. A little bit of cash for the club and his opportunities were going to be few and far between - so best for both parties. As someone mentioned will it mean Mcghee is taken off the list especially as he's also forced his way into the side recently.

Are Kettering modelling themselves on Canvey of old - Theo, Junior and Midgely. Who next?

Real shame he's gone thought he was one of our best defenders.

Have a feeling that we may draw kettering in the FA Cup or trophy, with a few canvey old boys there now i have a feeling its destiny that we will draw them.

Good Luck Theo.

Far too good for Kettering, unless Gazza is going to do something there.

Sounds as if Dave did a solid job for the Poppies today, they managed a 0-0 draw with St. Albans. McDougald played too and Midgley was on the bench also.

Speaking of Canvey players going to Kettering......Ollie Berquez has joined them now on a month's loan from Stevenage!

There seems to be a post on confguide and on one of the Stevenage forums but I can't see it on their main website.

Well apparently now it's not Berquez from Stevenage, it's Hugh McAuley from Tamworth!
