Even with the XI we put out two three injuries to Parms, Forbes and Wardy none too serious, Parms was stretcherd off but he was just limping some at full-time.

I think all the non-regulars that played tonight did what they were told to do. Crow, Ross Johnson, Forbes, Brayley.

I thought Forbes did well in the time he was on the pitch and Ross Johnson was very solid.

Took a while to get going tonight but after Greggors' goal (what a shot, Marco Van Basten would have been very proud), there was only one winner.

Prothers delivery from set pieces was masterful tonight. Three set pieces, three goals. With that sort of delivery he must be in the starting eleven. Question is who do you drop?

Sad to see Rudi go, but he wasn't quite doing it for us in all honesty. I really wanted him to be a quality player, but unfortunately things didn't work out. Still, I wish him all the best and it was great having a Finnish International at the club, even for a short while!

Unfortunately I've missed the last two games and obviously the news of Rudi's departure. Why did he go? I agree that he hadn't performed so far, but he's obviously a quality player and I was looking forward to seeing him play next season once he was more settled.

Also, how was Forbes last night, did we loan him out to get him fit enough to get back in the 16, or as a message to other clubs that he is available?

A real shame about Rudi but I think he just couldn't settle in England. I imagine he missed his family and just couldn't adapt to the changes in culture and lifestyle.

I saw him a couple of times in Canvey high street. The last time on a Sunday about two weeks ago walking down the High Street about 5.30. I thought somebody would have told him that most of the shops are closed on a Sunday! But I suppose the poor bloke was lonely, it can't be much fun having Greggors as a drinking partner!

Anyway I'll miss you Rudi and I'll never forget his part in the 6-0 Bryco mauling of Grays. Sheer quality!

I don't think that's the reason. One of the owner's is a mate of mine and he would have said if some former Finnish international was trying to rip him off.

More likely he was having a quiet pint in the 'jammer' or perhaps he was sampling the joys of candy floss (alright EFM don't start!)

He was doing a Canvey pub crawl I bet. Started at Park Lane, then the Jellicoe, Oysterfleet, Haystack, Monico, Windjammer and back at Park Lane to train it off.

Expectations were high of Rudi and I think that he hadn't been producing the goods in the time he was given. Being homesick and stuck in the Oysterfleet with nothing to do must have been hard on the bloke.

Hope he returns to top flight Finnish football ASAP, (their new season starts next month). Maybe he'll return to FC Haka.

Goodbye Rudi, all the best mate!!!
