I don't care!!

It's unfortunate that they're playing Chelsea next as obviously I want Chelsea to win and if it sends them down then they'll be labelled as mercenaries or something.

Up the Blues!!!!

Well obviously as a Hammers fan, I want them to stay up but it seems a lot of people would love to see them go down. Maybe fans of Tottenham borespur perhaps.

I would love to see Leeds go down. That would wipe the smile of Viduka, Smith, Kewell's faces!

west ham or leeds.. nothing personal Y.A. but both clubs have farted around all season.. i think bolton deserve another shot at staying up and it will be fun to see either of the 'big clubs' in nationwide one..

if the hammers do go down and can avoid going bust i think after the intial shock a season in that league could be good fun , especially if the duff everyone uo n bounce straight back.. if leeds go they are treble fked!!

To be honest if the Hammers go down, it will be their own fault. You can't start every season thinking that mid table mediocrity will do because you'll come unstuck eventually. The thing that pisses me off is players like Cole, Defoe and Glen Johnson have worked bloody hard and care about the club but will go if we're relegated. The attitude at the club stinks and in the long run they'll lose supporters.

They's a club just down the road who are benefiting greatly from the Hammers' demise. If they get into the Football League and West Ham go down expect them to get good crowds.

Rushden D v Cardiff, maybe a Premiership fixture in ten years time. Let's face it 10 years ago who would have thought Fulham would be in the top division!

Strange how in Essex Spurs and Hammers are natural rivals

Being north London born and bred and followed the glory game at Spurs from 1948 onwards the natural rivals were never the Hammers, Spurs fans only ever hated the intruders from south London

No songs no character and very few north London supporters they were always the establishment pets

For me West Ham have a bigger English role to play in the premiership than the woolwich outfit now infested with French odours, In fact the only missing ingredient for the gooners is Ken Bates as chairman

Come on you Hammers

Ooh you cheeky git!

If Arsenal had Bates as Chairman then they would have to re-name the company something like Warner Village! , (to coinside with Chelsea Village Plc.) Some of them make the Loony Toons look normal!!!

I bet he couldn't buy the [****!!****] with £1. (That wasn't meant to be a swear word, I did mean French Connection UK!!)

Matt this man paid £1 for the club and many consider he was cheated and this is the man who attempts to avoid the glare of racial intolerance at his club by accusing Spurs fans of being racist in calling themselves Yids

By the way when!ever was 97m in debt successful

The only difference between Chelsea and Leeds is that Leeds owe less cash but do not own their ground or facilities and are unable to make the spreadsheet look other than mismanagement

But they do have a top coach/manager, the best foreign player in the league (Zola) and manage to play some class football

It's not £97m it's about £80m

Stamford Beach, I mean Bridge is a top flight football Stadium that is classed to hold top internationals - I don't know why they don't!!

I suppose Bates is good with his money and how to show it. He won't throw it away on mindless things like English & Maths classes after training sessions for youngsters. But not everybodies perfect - he did put that money into Wembley and he wasn't exactly devastated when Matthew Harding was killed in that Helicopter crash either!

How nice you are Matt

Bates and his money are never parted, he uses club money

As to why the bridge is not used, simple the surface has never been good enough

Why are you a Chelsea fan? your not Italian, Maltese, Greek or what!ever or some lost soul that woke up one morning in west London

My Father's influence I'm afraid. But I don't know why he is anyway. I think he said it was cause they were the best team when he was growing up. Probably why there are a lot of Man Utd fans outside Manchester too.

Agree with you about Zola though, although my favourite Chelsea players I remember playing for them were Gavin Peacock & John Spencer. Now though it is probably Mario Stanic, Jesper Gronkjaer and Whasisface Zenden. I don't know if it's just me but I love Wingers!!

I also had a thing for Roberto Di Matteo and Dan Petrescu, but they too have since departed.

Never been the best team when anybody was growing up

But they have been the best fun team at different times

Bates has tried to turn them into a serious side but you be prepared for a big downturn in fortunes if they do not make the champions league this year

80M is a very serious number

I am not sure of the shares situation but if Bates has major share holdings you watch him sell at a gross profit
