Really, well that's certainly news to me, I haven't received any calls, texts or e-mails. I expect all will be revealed at Cranfield United tomorrow.

A comprehensive report on this one from another's Forum:

MK Wanderers (0) 0 Pitstone & Ivinghoe (1) 3
South Midlands Division Two
Att 29 (headcount)
Admission Donation which included a 12 page photocopied programme - 1st ever issue.

Basic ground in MK, roped down one side, with a wooden rail behind the top goal. Large dressing room complex behind said goal with large overhang that would afford cover if required, though 15 or 20 yards back from the pitch, though at a slightly higher level to give a good view of the pitch. Very large dug-outs on the far side of the pitch. Tea bar in operation, run by club chairman, selling tea, coffee, coke and crisps everything priced at 50p.

Very even game with the homesters on top earlydoors. P&I took the lead from a penalty and then added two further goals in the second period. The visitors number nine got all three. The home number nine had two goals chalked off for offside, both were "Denis Law" type backheels. Mystery how MK did not socre a number of goals, the visitors keeper had a blinder, which was almost marred when he ran the full length of the pitch twice to celebrate the 2nd and 3rd goals, he was also the captain !. Very good set of officials, referee and assitants all very helpful, and all had a good game. In fact "gold stars" all round as everyone taking part in the game was at the venue well over an hour before kick-off.

MK are at home on Monday to Mursley, kick-off noon. The club have prepared a programme for the game but at present are having differculty getting it photocopied. They said they hope to produce at least 15 copies even if it means running them off one by one from a PC. Had hoped to produce a glossy colour programme but they have found the print cost are far to high at this point to do so. Below I have listed various hyperlinks for the club. Note though no one has managed to contact the actual club sec and the person doing the prog is the team manager. Everyone at the club were very helpful and are looking forward to welcoming travellers and getting feed back on their club.

NB - Pitsone & Ivinghoe hope to move in two years time to a "new" ground, this is the ex Castle Cement ground that was rebuilt ten years ago and has suffered problems ever since, stones and rubbish coming through the surface to over use. Last season this ground was used by Pitsone. Ivinghoe and Cheddington United of the Aylesbury League, who won (or were finalists) in the B&B Junior Cup.

I've just got in half an hour ago Rhodes, we don't all support clubs on our doorsteps, the easy option so to speak.

Obviously disappointing but I leave analysis to our coaching staff and owners. At least I can console myself that you can at least take joy in our struggles Rhodes.
