yesp, i wrote my letter to the press a while ago

I haven't seen the paper of course, but I'm not sure what it's got to do with the 'Friends' of EPF? Arguably the stadium is next to, not in, the playing fields, and provided any redevelopment, refurbishment or re-use does not impinge on the fields, whatever sports are or are not played in the stadium is none of the 'Friends' business.

Maybe they mean 'friends' in the same way the Soviet Union was friends with Czechoslovakia in 1968.
