Just wanted to set the record straight on the recent departures from Chertsey - Hamsher, Langley and Tidy were not "released" they all walked out for the simple well known fact that the manager does not know a thing about football.. I am led to believe that they will not be the last to leave the club as there our some big egos (none bigger than the manager himself) that are dividing an already fragile dressing room... Fair play to Hamsher, Langley & Tidy the 3 of them can now sit back and watch on as Mr Days empire crumbles!

not many players who have left Chertsey have been too polite about the management.

 

If CTFC can keep getting fresh players in and win games it wont be a problem how many they turnover.

 

if they cant, Ive started making notes and directions for the div 1 grounds.....

Your right there Krusty they'll just go out and find someone else who's being paid a pittance compared to what they're offering

im sure money will continue to attract players there, it will keep some too.

 

But its not easy to win enough games when you have to change your players.

 

perhaps CTFC should spend some "folding" on an experienced proven manager/coach.

where are last seasons guildford management team now?

 

relegated to 2nd in one season was a fair start to a career.

I agree tsf but at this level quality players will always produce no matter how long they have been together look at AFC Wombles when they started , but from what iv heard things are a bit strained but without seeing it first hand we will just have to watch what unfolds , i said to you on sat things will unfold !

You can get loads of players in TSF, but it don't always mean you'll win games !

I think it's starting to unfold now - money will always attract players at this level but if your management team are weak then you will struggle when you come up against organised disciplined sides who are willing to work harder - I think Chertsey have found that out a few times already this season..

Well it's early days yet and it makes for an interesting season Bedfont Green are looking very good to me now quietly going about their business.
