Not sure how true it is, but I heard someone say on Tuesday that he isn't injured and will be used sparingly from now on, I really can't believe that though, he is a quality player and as mentioned earlier, should at least be on the bench.

The problem that Liam has is that he has 3 centre halves available - Macca, Smith and Charles - and can only pick 2. Each has their strengths and weaknesses, and it will always be difficult choosing between them.

If Sacha's not fit next Saturday, then Smudger will no doubt play as Macca will be suspended - we'd then have a back four of Ricko, Smith, Charles and Pooley.

Given what happened yesterday it would probably be Darius at left back with Smudger amd Pooley in the middle.

 

It sounded like Sasha going off didn't weaken us at all against Barrow.

Spot on Slarti. If anything, Sacha going off turned the match. We were stood right by the tunnel when he went off and he looked in quite some pain.

 

Charles effortlessly went to left back and got forward a lot. He made the first goal. Pooley seemed quite at home at CB.

Right you are, versatility of charles should be key, so if sacha got injured again, we have adequate cover.
