Tonight's Evening Echo

According to the back page of tonight's Echo Mark Brennan and Mark Graham have been released by the club and Matt Jones, Spencer Knight and Bertie Brayley are to have talks during the summer regarding their futures at the club.

What does everybody think about this?

P.S J.K has been selected for the England National Game XI to take part in the four nations tournament in Wales.

Well done J.K and good luck!

I didn't think Brennan really fitted in but I thought Graham would have been a good signing apart from the fact that he plays similarly to JK.

As for Bertie and Spence, I'd like to see them stay but again I didn't think Matt Jones really fitted in.

But that's just my opinion. Oh yeah well done to JK who has been rewarded for another good season>

Firstly Well Done to JK...

Secondly we knew Mark Graham was walking out of the Club at the Enfield game, he wasn't getting the chance to play and decided to move on. Brennan will probably retire now, he's been round the Non-League circuit a bit and will probably go into coaching.

I reckon Spencer Knight should stay, he's been plagued by injuries this season but is probably the fastest left-sided player we've got. Bertie I'm not too sure about, he has improved slightly over the season, but he's had too many chances to prove he's worth keeping and only 1 or 2 have been successful. As for Matt Jones, well he should go if he still wants to play. Spending the last two thirds of the season propped up in the bar isn't very helpful to us or him.

BTW - I noticed today at College that Ashley hasn't gone to Greece with the rest of the team. Most of the Teachers/Tutors probably didn't.

However, if we signed Jon Keeling then things may be different on the right wing!!!

As for the three players whose futures are being discussed, they can all get on the first bus to Grays for all I care!!!
