Hempstead Gaz
Funnily enough, I said this the other night. He is getting some confidence, Liam is showing his confidence in him by giving him a start and 90 minutes. Well done George.Keep it going. Stu M
Yep, thought Purcell had a very good game today. Until he faded in the last 15, he was a contender for man of the match.
Alan W (GNFC)
I just wish he had a right foot though - its far easier for defenders when they know he's going to use his left foot all the time.
eufckev
Some of you know, I'm not the biggest fan of George Purcell, but I was definitely impressed by his performance. Let's hope he can keep it up.
Hempstead Gaz
It says a lot about George's character that he has come back so strongly after his earlier alledged spat with Liam, which saw him omitted from the team for a while. He looks as if he has lost weight, got fitter and stronger, and all round more confidence, from which he is reaping the rewards of goals and full matches. I am happy to eat my slice of humble pie too, and am glad than Georges looks likely to stay, obviating the need to replace him later this season. Hooky The Mascot
I dont know why but I really want george to suceed in a fleet shirt. Im not sure if its the flashes of skill or wether the fact hes a local lad... or maybe the fact i palyed 5 a side against him last year and he destroyed my team .
