He is getting some confidence, Liam is showing his confidence in him by giving him a start and 90 minutes.

It says a lot about George's character that he has come back so strongly after his earlier alledged spat with Liam, which saw him omitted from the team for a while.

He looks as if he has lost weight, got fitter and stronger, and all round more confidence, from which he is reaping the rewards of goals and full matches.

I am happy to eat my slice of humble pie too, and am glad than Georges looks likely to stay, obviating the need to replace him later this season.
