Last night's Mitoo definately showed the Tue 21st game as having changed to Holmer Green v The Chalfonts. Now back to Colney Heath. The Spartan League officials are as mad as a meat axe.

I heard rumours that the stand they have erected behind the goal might have to be removed as the council refused retrospect planning, their main stand has now been condemmed thus leaving them with no ground gtading.

That's possibly why Chalfont St Peter only drew 1-1 at St Margaretsbury last night knowing that they can't now get promotion due to ground grading, reading between the lines they would have normally made sure of winning last night with so much at stake.

i agree. Theyll still want to win the title and wont let it affect their performance. Still, gotta be a major kick in the teeth from the council so late on in the season!

Jonno - Fair comment but I'm not so sure, it's human nature to let a huge body blow like that prior to the game last night effect your performance and it must have been at the back of their minds particularly so soon after the FA Vase disappointment. I wouldn't mind betting that they drop points at Brimsdown Rovers tomorrow.
