Play Offs

I still don't understand, why does't the Ryman league have a play-off so that 2 teams can go into the Conference?? It would make the season much more exciting for teams as they would have something to play for!! And Canvey would have gone up three seasons ago!! Why haven't they done this yet??

Too complicated to explain S.C.C. If you introduced play offs for the Ryman you would have to introduce play offs for the two other feeder leagues and that would mean 6 teams going into the Conference and 6 relegated which is not really feasable.

In two seasons time, (heres hoping we manage to get 14th or higher next season) we will be playing in a League that seems set to have playoffs for that 4th spot in the Conference.

 

That is of couse unless we win the Ryman this season and go straight into the Conference which already has Playoffs, so they'll be something to look forward to in the coming seasons ahead...

Well 3rd spot anyway, two up as of right (winners conference south & north) and one through a playoff system.

well it will at least keep the intrest up for a lot more teams after jan/feb and that has to be good.... the conf was a bit odd thid year in thst the 4 play off places seemed sorted very early on

The Ryman's fine as it is, though from a Canvey perspective a playoff does seem sensible!!!
