All off to Worcester Park then!

TRS GREAT FOOTAGE AS USUAL ALTHOUGH THE GAME LEATHERHEAD & WHYTELEAFE CANNOT HAVE BEEN A MASTERPIECE IF YOU FILMED 33 SECONDS AND 1 GOAL !

THE AFC GAME WAS GOOD BUT EVERY LONG CHANNEL BALL CAUSED H&Y PROBLEMS DEFENCE SO SQUARE, BUT WELL TAKEN GOALS ALL THE SAME

WELL DONE TRS KEEP IT UP !

Thanks NG, there is 5 minutes or so of the Leatherhead v Whyteleafe game on the site. I just also did a separate cut of that goal to post on the Wimbledon forum, as it was 3 ex-Dons involved in it. Hayes & Yeading were all over the shop in the first half an hour, but strangely they improved once they went down to ten men. Will be interesting to see what happens in the reverse fixture on New Year's Day.

I see there was quite a heavy frost last night !

Indeed and my match of choice for this afternoon, Whyteleafe v Merstham has just fallen :(

Leaves me with Kingstonian v Bognor Regis, Woking v WSM or Staines v Bishop's Stortford. Hmmm....

Have a look at Woking, TRS !

We need a spy for info for Tuesday January 5th, (weather permitting !)

Well, we've had oodles of rain today, so this weekends matches must already be in doubt.

IF IT'S NOT SNOW ITS FROST. IF ITS NOT FROST ITS RAIN ! WHEN WILL THIS BAD WEATHER STOP ? I CAN'T PLAN MY WEEKEND CCL GAME TO GO AND WATCH, HAVING TO LEAVE IT UPTO THE LAST MINUTE UNTIL CLUBS HAVE AN INSPECTION OR CALL THE GAME OFF, ITS SO FRUSTRATING.

THIS WEEKNDS FIXTURES ? WITH RESPECT TO OTHER CLUBS, THERES 3 MATCHES THAT STICK OUT. CERTAINLY FIRST CHOICE IS CAMBERLEY AGAINST BADSHOT LEA TO SEE HOW BADSHOT LEA FAIR AGAINST LEAGUE LEADERS, SO WHATS THE CHANCES VPCTFC OF YOUR GAME BEING ON SATURDAY ? YOUR PITCH HOLDS UP QUITE WELL BUT PROBABLY TOO EARLY TO TELL AT THE MOMENT ?

THEN THERE'S ASH VERSES MOLESEY ALTHOUGH ASH PITCH DOES TEND TO GET VERY BOGGY, SO THAT APPEARS DOUBTFUL AND LASTLY SANDHURST AGAINST EPSOM & EWELL WHAT'S THE PITCH LOOKING LIKE TC ? COULD GO TO GUILDFORD AGAINST COVE BUT SORRY I DONT LIKE GOING TO THE SPECTRUM IT HAS NO ATMOSPHERE (SORRY GUILDFORD SWEENEY !)

i have today been to both badfont and staines lammas and both pitches are unplayable at the moment , standing water on both , unless the weather clears up and remains dry until the weekend then cant see many games making it ,

cambo has a very big slope so the water runs off nice guy so they may well get a game on

Nicey - Nut knows our pitch better than most and, as he says, water won't be a problem. There's no rain due on Friday or Saturday so what's there now will have gone but of course there's the temperature to consider.

-4 on Friday night only rising to a maximum of 3 on Saturday. Won't be a problem in my book but it all depends on which ref we get.

We need to get the game in. We've not suffered as badly with postponements as some clubs but between the two clubs, us & Badshot Lea are booked up virtually every Saturday and Tuesday/Wednesday until the end of the season so it could be a case of a Thursday game or extending the season past April 24th if it isn't on this weekend.

As for how the Baggies compare against the league leaders - they beat us 2-0 at Cherrywood Road in November. They always give us a tough game.

If you're thinking of coming then keep an eye on Twitter (a useful tool more CCL clubs should use IMO - there's only us & Guildford at the moment).

The postponement, if it happens, will be announced there as soon as I know. Game on unless you read otherwise.

THANK YOU VP.

I ALSO LOOKED UP THE WEATHER AND SEE THAT ALTHOUGH THERE WILL BE SOME DRIZZLE (LIGHT RAIN) TOMORROW. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ARE LOOKING TO BE GOOD SUNNY DAYS SO THERE'S HOPE FOR US ALL YET !!! IF THERE IS A FROST FRIDAY EVENING VP IS SOME PART OF THE GROUND COVERED SO THE SUN CANNOT SOFTEN THE GROUND ? ANYWAY, IF YOUR GAME IS ON I'LL BE COMING TO WATCH.

VP I'VE SEEN BADSHOT LEA A FEW TIMES THIS SEASON AND THEY ARE QUITE A STRONG TEAM SO ITS GAME ON. UPON CHECKING OUT THE LEAGUE POSITIONS, CAMBERLEY ARE TOP WITH 49 POINTS, BADSHOT LEA HAVE 32 POINTS A DIFFERENCE OF 17 POINTS HOWEVER BADSHOT LEA HAVE 6 (SIX !) GAMES IN HAND MAX. 18 POINTS SO TO BE UP THERE WITH YOU VP THEY HAVE TO WIN 'ALL' THEIR GAMES WHICH I THINK IS A BIG ASK, SO SATURDAYS GAME IS A REALLY IMPORTANT FOR BOTH TEAMS. SHOULD BE INTERESTING SO HOPE THE GAME IS ON BECAUSE I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.

SEE YOU THERE VP I HOPE !

The industrial units on the south side of the ground keep some of the pitch in shade at this time of year. It's only managers, subs and linos who go over that part of the ground though. Just make sure neither team uses a winger on that side and there'll be no problem.

Can you remember which one I am? This was me about 39 years ago....
