I'm well looking forward to it, particularly as if they have a weakened team out, we'll probably beat them!!

 

A few of my Gooner 'mates' from work are interested in coming along. Will they be fine to get tickets on the day, or should they buy them in advance??

 

Bumper crowd hopefully, we should make a packet out of this match - £30K maybe??

you lucky b..tards we had charlton last season but they bought the reserves down.. i think its safe to assume berkamp wont be there ..if henry runs out for a half your gauranteed a full house arn't you.. there must be loads of familys with arsenal crazy kids round your way

The smart thing for the Arsenal game is for me to go 0-0, McDonnell to score first and to get the attendance right. I'll take 2 or 3 points and maintain my principles!!

It's advertised as a Arsenal XI and the Sunday People listed all Arsenals pre-season friendlies and we were not on it - They return from a pre-season tour of Austria the day before, i guess any player who didn't get much action on the tour may get a run out.

i was looking at the programme on saturday, on one of the pages john gibson expressed some doubt whether the arsenal game will take place or not.

would it not be better to hang on until the first team are free to play a friendly rather than have their youth team come down.

i thought we were guaranteed a first team friendly after their ladies used the park last year.

I noticed the tickets for the game are relatively expensive. I think City should give an indication of the sort of side Arsenal are bringing to justify this.

According to Arsenal press office. They're sending the same squad which played Peterborough earlier this month. This included Campbell, Keown, Parlour, Taylor & Edu. Can't see it myself but that's what they said.
