Thanks for the directions yesterday, alot better trip.

They did not want to leave at this stage of the season, but something was done behind the scenes which has made John & Adie's job's untenable.

That's a real shame for John & Adie and the club, just as they are getting their lights as well. Adie did a decent job with Knaphill's Reserves after a difficult time with the previous manager, and he is doing a fantastic job with Knaphill's U15 Girls; and with Knaphill Ladies winning their League Cup final (5-0 against Molesey at Merstham) today and promotion an almost foregone conclusion, Knaphill look to be a powerful force in ladies football in the next few seasons.

Any idea what time Sheerwater arrived at the arena Saturday? I was stuck in traffic just off M25 J7 and how weird that loads of cars hooting their hoors in the standstill all had Sheerwater shirts on! Not sure if they stuck with it but I followed everyone up the hardsoulder and illigally getting out of the traffic through no entry signs, balls to sitting in Croydon traffic for the third week out of four!!!!!!! :bartshocked:

Wattsy, just spoke to a reliable sorce and reason john & adie left when the commitee saw fit 2 allow a player 2 play for the resses that should have gone with the 1st team, underminding the 1st team managers that shouldnt happen

As an outsider,

I think it was a good move for the club, to be fair on the string of results they had, they both were lucky not to get the boot,so i think they jumped at the right time, also an inside source said jon and adie lost the dressing room with lots of players not wanting to play for them.

Good luck to them both
Wolfman here wot ur saying but knowing both of them i would say sheerwaters loss, John,s very honest and from the outset would have been working his .... off, with Adie coming in they just needed to consolidate till the end of the season then push on from there.

Knowing the lads well they would have been well prepared, as for losing the dressing room you will get unrest from players that are not playing and it dosnt take long before they feel the managers are wrong not to pick them.

Also Wolfman are you aware 3 commitee members have left on the back of John & Adie going!

I think a change at the club can onlybring new ideas and new opportunities for new commitee members, remember no one is irreplaceable.

i now hope the club use this as an opportunitie to move the club forward as its been standing still for too long :)
