Ref Off Ref - Seriously though what was wrong with Biggleswade United's pitch for example or Hertford Town's, I'm sure with a bit of work during the course of today they could have been playable

You could have used the shovel you buried Tokynton with to offer to clear someone's pitch

Ref Off Ref - Why don't you make a New Year's resolution to knock all the silliness and toilet 'humour' on the head and instead concentrate on proper football banter. As a starter for ten how do you see Padbury's next three fixtures panning out in three different cup competitions, weather permitting, at home to Reading YMCA in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup, at home to Pitstone & Ivinghoe in the Division 2 Cup and away to Tring Corinthians in the Anagram Records Feeder League's Trophy.

Couldn't they have installed undersoil heating over theChristmas period? Disgrace

It's a crying shame that yesterday's scheduled fixtures weren't today as they would all be on, I wonder whether it is too late to re-schedule some of them for this afternoon and put the word out on the street

And spoil your fun.....and mine too, think I'll continue if you don't mind.

As for Padbury's next 3 Cup fixtures, like you're interested, how about I say we'll lose them all, Basil 'Bog' Brush

Ref Off Ref - See, you can't even give a serious answer to a straight forward football question, perhaps Craig Bicknell will come on with his take on those three interesting cup ties, Reading YMCA are an unknown quantity and the visit to unpredictable Tring Corinthians won't be a cake walk

Glad I could be of valuable help to you anyway regards our 3 cup ties...as I said before tho, promotion is our aim so don't go sharpening your pencil just yet d**k

i think they will all be tough as we dont like these heavy pitches lol . on the 8th we have reading and on past games with teams from that league they all battle well . and as we didnt let berks and bucks no about our ground share they wont let us play it at buckingham town so we our going back to our old pitch padbury its a shame as we lose money on the gate . then pitstone are not in good form after there manager left but wouldnt write them off as they have nothing to lose . last season mursley beat flying berko in this cup so any thing can happen . then the big one tring away lol really looking forward to this one after i missed the 0.0 draw there and the lads are well up for it .and being the cup holders we dont want to give it up with out a fight . and we would love to get to the final again as they looked after us so well at last final it made a brilliant day for both teams . then the last date in jan is q final of county cup if we beat reading so a very interesting month .

Craig Bicknell - Why couldn't Ref Off Ref have made a great post like that giving his own take on Padbury's prospects in those three eagerly awaited Cup ties. Good luck on 8 January against Reading YMCA, out of interest why do your home games kick off early, don't Buckingham Town allow you to use the floodlights or is your Chairman just looking to save a few quid

Craig Bicknell - Is your Chairman playing Scrooge by any chance this Christmas in Pantomime as surely that is a little ridiculous, there's nothing like playing under floodlights and along with Winslow United, Padbury could break down barriers for a Division 2 Club this season
