Our secretary had been trying to get hold of an official qualified to do a pitch inspection all afternoon but none were available. The match referee was able to get to the ground early and do the inspection. One part of the pitch wasn't up to his standard so he called it off, having seen it I'm not surprised but I've certainly played on a lot worse.
