Its not all doom and gloom at Harefield Utd

 

YOUTH is the way forward we have some superb youngsters coming through the ranks.

 

But are they experienced enough for the Spartan Premier ?

 

Results dont lie, and the experience gained this season will hopefully be the key factor in Harefield making a better showing next season.

 

We must have one of the youngest teams in the league, the other week we fielded 9 players under 20 AND WON !!

 

 

 

The U18s play ASHFORD TOWN in the Middlesex Senior cup final on wednesday 9th March at HAYES &YEADINGS CHURCH ROAD GROUND.

 

COME ON YOU HARES !! KEEP THE FAITH

I reckon we must be pushing you for youngest squad, don't think there was anyone over 23 (except me!) in our side against Aylesbury on Weds. Majority being around the 20 mark.

 

Must say that all the better sides do seem to have a much higher average age of say 25-27.

same as we had for the last couple of seasons all the ones who moved on were 28 plus. Willow now 37 ish !! being the elder statesman.

 

most of them doing very well in a league above.

 

NEVER MIND ONLY 5 OR 6 YEARS TO WAIT !!

HAREFIELD are a SSML Club so beg to differ.

 

Development in the game should be supported dont you think. Also 5 of that squad are playing 1st team football at the club.

 

Or should we all just post crap slagging off other people ? at least its football related.

The Hare - I haven't seen Ref Off Ref retract his ridiculous comment from yesterday as yet, how could he possibly say that your Under 18's

superb win against Ashford Town earlier this week wasn't SSML related
