Jersey players want in, but the Jersey Football Association are dead against it.

Does seem a bit petty on the Jersey FA's behalf - they could easily join the Combined Counties or Wessex Leagues, as one would suspect they have a good enough ground and support.

 

I have heard that the Isle of Man team are interested in joining the North West Counties League in 2013, with the possibility of Orkney and Shetland coming into the fold of the Highland League at the same time. However, it's rumour and supposition at present.

 

Personally, I'd be for it - it'll help give a bit of exposure to the Islands in question.
