Rother Posted February 16, 2013 Share Posted February 16, 2013 Went to Uxbridge v Aylesbury. 5 minutes in Chris Owens went into 50/50 challenge and came out with a broken leg / ankle (?). Obviously in extreme pain. Took 25 mins for ambulance then another 10 mins for morphine. When they tried moving him he was screaming in pain. Poor chap, Really quite disturbing. Game then called off at 4.02pm. Good player for us a couple of years ago. I wish him well. Although the Aylesbury player was sent off (almost as an afterthought) the Uxbridge fans and players seemed to agree it was 50/50 and no blame attached.
