That must be on a par with the win at Hornchurch - well done everyone.

Statto : on away form we are 5th and on home form we are 22nd.

There were a few comments earlier in the week about our style of play. If you need any evidence that the condition of our pitch is cramping our intended style of play, then there you have it.

As with the Met Police the team mixed up the style of play to good effect. Despite criticism of being one dimensional the team played good passing football on a surface that was good and for the most part firm. Route one was only utilised when required to clear the lines.

The first goal came from a lovely PASSING move that involved Poole and Beavan before Ekim powered a sweet connected shot from the edge of the box past the Kingstonian keeper.

The second was from a Poole corner where the Blues no. 6 Ryan Scott rose to meet to make it 2 0 to the Blues.

The game was marred to a degree by the home sides niggling and sometimes over the top fouling, completed by the behaviour of constantly surrounding the referee and moaning. Perhaps that is why the reporter in the NLP gave the game two stars for entertainment. I and other Blues supporters left the ground well entertained.

As for the style of football debate, I am sure this will still continue to be a constant source of discussion that will occupy some. But for me, given the opportunity and conditions, Craig usually picks the style for the playing conditions as well as the opposition we are facing, well.

New camera, new software... not finished playing yet but I am off to see me old girl who is in hospital...

Considering that I hadn't used the camera in anger until yesterday, got a nice haul of pics for the programme...

Apologies if I have got the name of the player wrong on the file...
