oh and one other result

Curley Park Rangers FC Under 18's won the Surrey County Cup tonight, beating Abbey Rangers FC 5-3 on penalties. Score at the end of ET was 1-1

I'm well happy!

Was personally at this game tonight, and how embarrassing are those posts on the Walton and Hersham Forum. Its not the Manager,Players,or Volunteers who run the Club that should be slated, they gave their all to the cause on the night, alas it was not enough. The 4-1 scoreline flattered Dorking Wanderers a little. But the downside for me was that not 1 yes not 1 so called Walton and Hersham Supporter ventured into the Clubhouse after the game.To spend a penny on a drink, which shows to me that they truly do not have any passion at all for a great Club, with a great history.Keyboard Warriors at there worst.

P.S.Thanks Chris B. for the lift home much appreciated.

Marc White has confirmed to me that this puts them in a play-off position, though they still have to play Guernsey at home after last Saturdays cancelled match.

From looking at the W&H forum it appears that the problem most supporters have is with their owner. As a result, it's not surprising that the supporters choose to drink elsewhere as they would see it as giving him money.

Walton & Hersham have a massive history and many long term supporters and you'd have to be passionate about your club watching it play most of its games at a ground with an athletics track. Very sad that they appear to be leaving the ground though as it contains some fantastic history of enormous crowds there that no club in the CCL with the possible exception of Redhill can even come close to.

I'm sure that once the dust settles on the new ground they'll be fine again, but for now, they can spend a few seasons with us!
