Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show should be another good listen at noon today, it will feature Biggleswade Town, Hertford Town, Arlesey Town, Long Crendon, MarIow FC and St AIbans City:

This week's other Non League Show covering the weekend's scheduled FA Trophy Third Round ties:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8215639-16th-december-2022-fa-trophy-3-bath-city-peterborough-sports?playlist_direction=forward

As the FA Trophy reaches the Third Round, Non League hope it beats the freeze.
Among the games hopefully on this weekend, Bath City hosting current Trophy holders Bromley. Manager at Twerton Park Jerry Gill is pleased to be the underdog for once and looking forward to another chapter of success after the troublesome recent months, following the terrible matchday injury to player Alex Fletcher.
He might not be pinching himself but Jimmy Dean Manager at Peterborough Sports is proud of every step his Club have come since he took over the Club in 2015 back in Step 6. Now in the Play-Off hunt from Step 2, they travel to Premier League founders Oldham Athletic in this week's FA Trophy.
Matt Badcock helps with the Non League Paper round-up and it's another full edition of the Non League Football Show.

I trust everyone is currently tuned into Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show that began at noon, featuring Stotfold, Shefford Town & Campton, Crawley Green, Karen's Welwyn Garden City, Hemel Hempstead Town, Burnham FC and Amersham Town as well as the FA Trophy Third Round involving local Club's, the current Weather situation, New Managers and Reflections on 2022:

This week's other, pre-Christmas, Non League Show:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8220336-23rd-december-2022-eastbourne-borough-and-trevor-knell?playlist_direction=forward

As Christmas races upon us we talk to the November Manager of the month in the National South who sees his Eastbourne Borough side in the Play-Off zone after a difficult start to the season. Hoping to go better than last season's Play-Off defeat Danny Bloor is realistic that there is much still to be done but he's encouraged by the great spirit within the Club.
Trevor Knell kept many of us entertained during lockdown with his footballwriting.co.uk site of interviews and blogs. He explains he got into writing not via degree or courses but by getting out and doing stuff and why Non League is the perfect playground for the very same.
Matt Badcock rounds off the show with his updates on the big news stories and also the revised publication dates for the Non League Paper over the Christmas period.

Amazingly it appears that the next BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show, with Ollie Bayliss, is not until Saturday 7 January, it's 'criminal' isn't it. Ollie wished all his listeners and fans a very Happy Christmas which is typical of the man:

No Podcast about footbaII across Bedfordshire this week as far as I am aware however here is the other post-Christmas Non League Show:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8222559-30th-december-2022-end-of-a-year-a-dartford-gresley

As the year draws to a close Tim Fuell speaks with Dartford manager Alan Dowson on his first half a season in charge, winning the local, top-of-the-table, derby on Boxing Day and what it takes to be a Manager.
If Managing is hard, being a fan can be tough too as Stefan Appleby can testify. His first book is all about a decade or so in the life of being a Gresley Rovers fan, it's a book that will strike a chord with any Non League fan and one to keep you chuckling to yourself into the New Year. It's also one that would never have come about with that hoarde of old printed matchday programmes.
With another revised earlier publication date this week, Jon Couch helps round up a tough week of news in Non League and previews the weekend's isues of The Non League Paper.

Again no Podcast about footbaII across Bedfordshire this week as far as I am aware however here is the other Non League Show covering the three remaining Non Leage Club's, Chesterfield, Boreham Wood and Wrexham, in the FA Cup Third Round, unfortunately for Karen the great man Phil Annets is on the show:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8225194-06th-january-2023-fa-cup-third-round-wrexham-boreham-wood?playlist_direction=forward

As the FA Cup reaches the Third Round, we reach for player opinions. Ben Tozer rarely gives interviews and tries to stay out of the Wrexham spotlight but the defender has an inspiring story and an incredible work ethos we are proud he chose to speak about with us.
If that doesn't prove hard work and empathy lead to success, Jamal Fyfield's story will do. Now in his fifth year at Boreham Wood, he's aiming for more FA Cup success and passing on his experience to those around him.
Jon Couch is our expert from The Non League Paper as the Managerial merry-go-round appears to be in top gear with much more to discuss too in a busy opening week of the year.

Surprise surprise, Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show has been moved to 3.00pm today due to commentary on the Reading v Watford FA Cup Third Round tie, kicking off at 12.30pm. Also, to add insult to injury, Ollie's show has been reduced to ninety minutes, why does he always get the rough end of the stick:

So who heard it yesterday afternoon despite the later start and whilst SSML games were in progress, obviously I am referring to Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show. The show featured Kempston Rovers, Biggleswade FC and Boreham Wood as well as Wet Pitches, New Managers and the FA Cup with Boreham Wood in Third Round action with Accrington Stanley at Meadow Park whilst the show was on and disappointingly failing to deliver:

This weekend's other Non League Show, obviously Karen won't be listening with the FA Vase Fourth Round ties being previewed by her nemesis Phil Annets:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8229093-13th-january-2023-fa-trophy-round-4-harrow-borough-and-fa-vase-4th-rd?playlist_direction=forward

We reach the last 32 in both the FA Trophy and the FA Vase. Steve Baker’s Harrow Borough welcome FC Halifax Town in the FA Trophy and he’s well prepared on how they might turn out and why his side need to be on their game.
Given us insight into the FA Vase it’s Phil Annets with his @FAVase Factfile hat on, he also gives us a heads up on the return of the Generation Cup, celebrating those Club's who took part in the first decade of the FA Cup competition.
Rounding up the week’s news including Managerial changes, Club's for sale and who from Non League Paper towers is the Love Island expert, editor at large at the Non League Paper Matt Badcock returns to the show.

This weekend's other Non League Show, it's an interesting listen especially the interview with twenty year old Northern Premier League Division One Midlands Yaxley FC Manager Sammy Mould:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8233116-20th-january-2023-yaxley-fa-vase-4-ascot-utd?playlist_direction=forward

We start this week with the youngest Manager in the Pyramid. Just 20 years old, fate has forced him out of playing for a while at least, he has gone into the dugout and Sammy Mould has helped new Club Yaxley FC to their first win of the season already. A great listen and inspiration to all young Managers.
Inspiring other Clubs in the Pyramid Ascot United. Chairman Simon Negus his fellow board members and other volunteers at the Club go above and beyond to create a Club with over 700 registered players with a first team knocking on the door to Step 4.
Rounding up the week’s news, including Managerial changes, Clubs for sale and the impact of Non League on Love Island Jon Couch of the Non League Paper.

The Iatest episode of the Podcast aII about footbaII in Bedfordshire although there wasn't a great deal to cover this week with so many postponements last Saturday including the AFC Caddington v Real Bedford FC, Queens Park Crescents v Leighton Town Development and Totternhoe v Sharnbrook Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy Quarter Final ties which would have no doubt featured:

This weekend's other Non League Show and it is a busy one with both FA Cup and FA Vase ties scheduled to take place:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8237162-27th-january-2023-fa-vase-4-clevedon-town-fa-cup-4?playlist_direction=forward

They are still trying to play the majority of games in Round Four of the FA Vase. Hopefully it will be third time lucky for many this weekend. We speak to a Chairman of a Club that survives on volunteers alone behind the scenes, we chat about the impact in the post COVID era, about postponements and why the FA Vase is so important to a Club like his. Brian Rose of Clevedon Town also gives us some insight into the travel required for clubs in the Western League and the impact the end of this season restructure might have.
Phil Annets is back too, this time with his @FACupFactfile hat on. There may only be one Non-League Club left in the competition, but as he points out that isn’t that unusual although the lack of Premier League clubs left in the competition is.
Rounding up the week’s news, in a fairly quiet week without too many games, Editor at Large at The Non League Paper Matt Badcock returns to the show.
