Savagebee - Yes, there is an interesting preview on the game this evening on the Milton Keynes Robins website, they appear to think that the game is going to be tricky for them especially without Carl Tappin, Rob Macdonald and Jamie Sylvester:

Midweek fixture gives Robins the chance to bounce back from weekend’s draw

The Robins travel to Shefford Town & Campton this Tuesday, and the rescheduled fixture presents a good opportunity to move on from the disappointment of conceding a last minute equaliser at the weekend.

The squad will be eager to get the three points, after there were a few glum faces around following the draw against Ampthill, in what could prove to be a tough away fixture.

Shefford will have their tails up after getting a good result last time out against Rayners Lane, a 4-2 home victory against a side a few places higher up in the league table.

Despite that result, their recent form has been indifferent with that being their only victory in four matches, and over the season they have lost almost as many games as they’ve won.

The sides have faced off previously this season, with The Robins coming out 4-1 winners at Manor Fields, a result that they can take confidence from.

Speaking before the original fixture was postponed in mid December, midfielder George Shrieves acknowledged that the game had the potential to be difficult:

“I think it’s going to be a tough game. They’ve shown that they can cause problems for most teams in our league.”

In team news, Carl Tappin joins both Rob Macdonald and Jamie Sylvester in being unavailable for selection.

Were you on the game then, if I had known I would have warned those attending off, the match report is already on the Old Bradwell United website. I expect you took the Piccadilly Line to Vale Farm from Oakwood to Sudbury Town and back:

Another win Winslow Boy? Something special happening at Winslow United FC this season?

OUCH! for Wembley FC Ian Basher Bates will not be a happy manager today.

We’ve been very good previous two seasons, consistency has been an issue. Things going well, but we had a poor start and there’s a long way to go in a tough division. Play to our potential 9 out of 10 games and we have a great chance. I fully expect many twists and turns but from this position we have to make sure we stay in top four now. Got to grind out results like we did last night after being two down quite late in the game.

Milton Keynes Robins supremo Terry Shrieves was incandescent with rage following his sides 4-1 defeat at Shefford Town & Campton on Tuesday and said that they need to go back to basics, he is quoted in this post match interview as saying 'we’ve got a big opinion of ourselves and we’re not putting in the effort, any level of football you play at you need to put in the effort and at the moment we’re not working hard enough' and 'we’ve had a bit of an attitude now where we think we’ve got a divine right to do whatever we want to do, we have to go back to basics, work on our shape and get our shape right, I don’t know if some people have got their feet under the table and think they’re better than what they are, this is South Mids Division One and if they were better than what they are they would be playing at a higher level, simple as that':
