Unfortunately the early Semi Final draw hasn't been kind to Leighton Town particularly having to travel to either Hebburn Town or Warrington Rylands on a Wednesday evening due to Hebburn Town playing last seasons delayed Final at Wembley on Monday 3 May, I am sure Joe Sweeney isn't best pleased about that:

We’re in contact with the company who streamed it the round before.

As much as we appreciate the guys who did the Cobham’s stream interest, we want to make sure the stream is of the best possible quality for our supporters and the rest of people who want to watch the game.

Of course, the decision is not down to me, or Joe even, it’s down to people higher up than us!

AlwaysLeighton - Thanks, yes I have since seen that that is the case and it's a relief, they seemed very nice guys who livestreamed the Cobham tie for free but they weren't Gerald Sinstadt or Hugh Johns although you wouldn't know who they were:

Nor were they Kieran Carvell and Ben Davage.

Lines ups from Leighton Town v Wolverton Town in a 1988/89 FA Cup Preliminary Round tie, at Bell Close on Saturday 3 September 1988. Then South Midlands League Premier Division Leighton Town won 2-0 with strikes from, who else, Steve Norman and Dave Drewe but unfortunately lost 2-1 at Southern League Midland Division Banbury United in the next round in a replay following a hard fought 0-0 stalemate at Bell Close which they should have won:

Leighton Town progressed to the Second Qualifying Round but lost 3-1 at Creasey Park to Southern League Division One Dunstable Town

Line ups from that Dunstable Town v Leighton Town 1969/70 FA Cup Second Qualifying Round tie, at Creasey Park on Saturday 4 October 1969, Dunstable Town won 3-1 against a Leighton Town side made up of all local players. Tony Tyas scored the goal, his older brother Stan Tyas who also played in the game is sadly no longer with us:

I expect everyone involved with Leighton Town got little or no sleep last night, particularly AlwaysLeighton, wondering what might have been today had they held onto their 1-0 lead against Walsall Wood at Bell Close in the FA Vase Quarter Final tie on Saturday 1 May. Clearly the Semi Final visit to Warrington Rylands would have been difficult, as Walsall Wood found out, however Joe Sweeney's men may have been slightly better equipped to go there and win than Darren Byfield's side:

I gather this is the Leighton Town 1967/68 Bedfordshire FA Senior Cup winning side, the first of three successive wins in what was a very successful period for the Club:

George Lathwell (Coach), Ken Blake, Tiggy Gilbert, Tommy Coleman, Larry Smith, Ian Richardson, Stan Tyas, Pat Lynch, Peter Clarke, Harry Kirton (Manager), Alan Waller, Trevor Parsons, Malcolm McCormick, Mick Bailey.

The 1968/69 Bedfordshire FA Senior Cup winning side again, taken before the first drawn Final with Ampthill Town, played at Fairfield I believe, home of Biggleswade Town:
