Karen Browne
It is with regret that we were informed this morning that both Scott Reynolds and Ryan Gurton have both resigned from their positions as managers of Buckingham Athletic first team with immediate effect. Chairman Tony Checkley said "On behalf of the committee I would like to thank both Scott and Ryan for their help and commitment over the past 2 years and of course we wish them well in any new ventures" Further information on the process of finding a new management team will follow over the next couple of days. Daily Dose - I expected that from Always Leighton but not anybody else so I am surprised by your post. Scott had his work cut out at Stratford Fields from day one and was working with one arm, if not two, tied firmly behind his back, it's such a shame as it was an exciting appointment for Buckingham Athletic two years ago after Neil Griffiths had left the Club. Daily Dose
Winslow Boy - need to shed some light on this I one. An excellent mixture of youth and experience, with young hungry managers. My understanding from afar is that too many players moving on to other clubs and Uni etc and the managers felt they may not get a competitive side together so did the right thing and made the decision early. It’s a shame but a club like Winslow lives year to year, until someone wants to put in stupid budget like some other clubs. I believe there has been some interesting applications already.
