Surely it won't be five defeats on the spin for beleaguered Risborough Rangers tomorrow including the defeats to Tring Athletic and New Salamis at the end of last season, see the match programme:

A groundhopper from another Forum was at the King George V Playing Fields:

Spartan South Midlands League - Division 2
Sarratt v Old Bradwell United 0-3 (ht 0-1)
Venue: King George V PF, George V Way, Sarratt (ko 1500hrs)
Entry: Free, no programme
Attendance: 28 on FA Fulltime (34 h/c)
The current Division Two champions carried on where they left off last season with a deserved win. After an even opening spell with chances at both ends, Bradwell took control with a goal on 14 minutes. Scott Valentine played a one-two with his right winger before finding the net from just inside the box. Bradwell dominated the remainder of the half with the home keeper making good saves from Bradwell's Green and Valentine.
The players came out in good time for the start of the second half, but the three Officials exercised their right to a full fifteen minutes and left the players baking in the sunshine for what seemed like a considerable amount of time. Perhaps in retaliation the players then requested two drinks breaks in the second half (we had the expected one in the first half). Bradwell continued to dominate and doubled their lead on 58 minutes when Maxey met a cross from the right and headed in at the near post. By the 70th minute the visitors had made all five substitutions which gave Sarratt a glimmer of hope, but despite a period of pressure they were unable to create any meaningful chances. Bradwell had one of their subs sent off for a second yellow card with six minutes of normal time to go, but still managed a third goal seven minutes into added time. Cooke did well to hold off a defender before scoring at the near post and a minute later the final whistle went at nearly five o'clock.
The recreation ground is at the end of George V Way and there is a reasonably large car park. If this is full then on-street parking is possible all along the access road. The main pitch is directly behind a hedge, shared with the car park, and has various sections of plastic railings surrounding it. The Clubhouse is an extensive building along one touchline and has a long balcony at the front which is perfect for viewing, and was well orientated to keep us in shade throughout. Apart from a play area and tennis courts the rest of the venue is open grass with a number of smaller football pitches marked out but surprisingly no cricket square. Hot and cold drinks were on sale when the game wasn't in progress so, all in all, a very pleasant venue for Step Seven.

Watching Jets future and present, not the mercenaries of the past. I'm reliably informed upwards of £2k a week is being spent on this step 6 side. I think someone used to cheat at solitaire too...
