v Tonbridge

Recommended Posts

If we are to be serious contenders for the play-offs we will need to improve our away form.

Starting tomorrow we play 4 out of the next 5 games away from home which imo will make or break our season as far as the play-offs go.

Always a tough place to go but hopefully we are now a different side to the one that got battered 2-5 at home earlier in the season.

It doesn't help that its worked out us having something like 5 out of 6 aways in Jan, now next 4 out of 5 away.

If it was spread out as it should be, then you never know, going away regularly without a home break must be tough on the lads (not just game time, travelling, midweek etc...).

Who'd have thought a few months back we would be talking PlayOffs.

Personally, I am happy we have passed that 50 point mark, didn't see that coming after 10 games :)

COYR !!!

Definitely, no point in saying “lads don’t worry a draw is fine today” every match has to be a “let’s do everything we can to win today”. Obviously this won’t happen every match but you have to have the positive mindset from the off. I’d be disappointed with a draw today as we’re in great form and playing a team below us so there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be looking for a win to strengthen our play off push.

Where does it say we'll be happy with a draw?

It goes without saying that Scott and the team will be going all out for the win as they do for every game.

We are in form especially at home but we are playing a side that don't lose many games at home so a draw wouldn't be the worst result.

Look above, it was Orishadrian who stated it!!!

Sir Rebel was indicating that the team/players would be playing for a draw and would be happy with a draw.

Adrian was giving his own opinion that he would be happy with a draw.

Yes there is a difference between  drawing a game having tried your best to win and setting out to put the shutters up and play for a draw

I expect us to try to win but given the high number of home draws that Tonbridge have ground out I think its possible

It was a direct reference to Adrian's comment about taking a draw.
