ESL players

I have a general question, the reasons for which I won't go into on here, but it's nothing sinister I can assure you.

 

Could anybody tell me whether ESL players get paid to play, other than expenses that is, and also whether they can be signed on under contract?

some teams do but i believe most dont. apart from me (joke) nobody gets paid at wafc, no expenses or anything like that.

 

you cant sign a plaayer while he is on a contract.

OK, another question. Supposing an ESL team's League season had finished but the Reserves still had one game left to play against the League leaders. Do you think the club would do the decent thing and let the Reserves play or pack the side with first teamers to give them one last game and a possible win?

if our first team does not have a game on the day (or any time near it) then sometimes our first team will take the fixture, sometimes only a few who need a run out, some times a few who want to play and sometimes none.

 

it does not depend on the opposition or anything like that just what the management feel is best.
