Surely they'd be better off asking Canvey, I thought they were all quite chummy with one another (and they've got more money!). As for all this feel sorry for Hornchurch, I ask why? As far as I can see, a certain individual took them from obscurity, a then rundown club with attendances of 50, splashed a shed load of cash on 'em and gave them the taste of the highlife. They've been pampered for 3 seasons with cheap this and cheap that. Now there's no money, they'll have to duck and dive and put up with crap seasons like every other supporter in this country. It wasn't that long ago they were revelling in our league position, our proposed move to Basildon and continuing money problems. Feel for them, no chance. Hornchurch as a club have only benefitted from the money influx, the pennyless Hornchurch of today is 100 times better off than the pennyless Hornchurch of a few seasons ago. As for raising money for them, you've got to be joking!

if they ask, i would like to play them, mainly cos I would like to play a game and it would be good for supporters like us who play sundays or 3 times a year to play on a decent pitch.
