I've got a good feeling about tomorrow. I think we'll beat Barnet, ending their unbeaten run and taking all 3 points, obviously. If we can beat the bees tomorrow, then I can see us going on another one of our own unbeaten runs, great for the xmas period.

The team don't need criticism, as it will give them a negative motivational stance, and that's certainly what we don't need right now. Positive criticism maybe, but none of this negative stuff like giving fordy till xmas. that's just silly, and doesn't do anyone any good.

We'll either do 'em or get taken to the cleaners. Either way, a Premiership performance is required from everyone behind the goal. We out-sung them at Underhill despite going down 4-1 so we'll bloody well out-sing at home as well. And if I hear one 'Ford out' I shall not be responsible for my actions, especially if West Ham lose tonight and I've been on the winter warmer again.........hic.....

Let us be really positive toaday, plenty of cheering and lots of abuse to :

A) Those fans slagging of Andy

B) Those fans slagging off individual players

C) Hatch

I do worry about today's line though,

I suspect it will along the lines of

Pullen

Gledhill Moore McCarthy Skinner

Protheroe McKimm Saunders Drury

Essandoh (if fit) or Pinnock Onyimni

Subs Wilkerson Pennock Lovell Sidebe Harrhy

To the bloke who had a go at the man behind the goal who was moaning at Drury after every touch he had of the ball - well done sir!

Again, there were chants of 'Shearer' to be heard at the end of the game - once again unwise, since none of those singing could really claim to know the true reason for his departure.

And as for the some of the very personal abuse directed at Liam, that was also disappointing - although this probably stemmed from the fact that we are jealous that he has clearly moved on as a player since he left us, as Matt pointed out in another thread. There were a couple of incidents when he went to ground a little easily yesterday, but at least there was none of the elbow-swinging we saw at Underhill.

That would have been myself and brother! The older gentlemen standing there were fishing for a fight! Could not find a word of encouragement - and ps: Paying your Tenner gives you the right to an opinion - Yes. But not the right to shout abuse at every player cos youve had a bad week at work! I Never shout negative comments towards the players - IDIOTS. All 4 of you!

In the cold light of day I bet you wish you had never posted this, stick to posters on the bedroom wall and leave football to the blokes. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

But at least Fleetbabe is intelligent enough to know how to register.

People like him should be turned away at the gate. Paying £10 does not give you the right to throw abuse at people. Does it give the fans of Real Madrid the right to make racist comments?

He really seemed to have it in for Drury, but it didn't stopped there, he called both Manny and Saunders lazy for not chasing a ball when it was almost in the keepers hands and every loose pass received numerous explitives and criticism.

It is no wonder that when we conceeded the first goal everyones heads seemed to drop, it can't do much for your confidence having that kind of abuse hurled at you!

Also, what is singing songs for Shearer going to do for our players confidence? Was Shearer really that great? Is he another John Terry or Rio Ferdinand? I don't think so, I seem to remember him making quite a few costly mistakes at times.

Lets get behind the players we have, give them our support and hopefully their confidence will come back and we can return to winning ways.

PS. Well done to Richard C and Dave for pulling the guy up on it!

I was standing on the half way line and some bloody idiot shouted out to dury to go play golf. Andy heard it and was trying to see who shouted it you could see he was'nt impressed, this sort of thing does not help, so why do it, we can all crittisize(spelling), but do it quietly, it is un believable when you hear these fools doing this.

Bloke standing in front of me, just to one side of the gantry kept having a go at some of the players, drury in particular, saying that they wern't doing enough when they were working their socks off.

Hendon, the barnet captain( i think) was inciting the crowd, because people were saying what was it like playing at spurs, and QPR, so he turned round and said something like "doing your missus was much better!" Surely he should have been booked for this.

Hate to say it, but barnet had less fans and were making just as much noise.
