ETFC have one SIX trophies in the last four years.

1. Essex senior league winners ...2003
2.Essex senior cup winners...2002 and 2004
3.Middlesex charity cup winners... 2002
4. Capital counties feederleague trophy winners...2002
5. Gordan Brasted memorial cup winners...2003

+ Essex senior league runners-up...2002
Middlesex Senior cup runners-up...2003

You know it must have been a wonderous occasion winning the capital counties feeder league trophy and the gordon brasted memorial trophy, so what was it then a mass precession along the A10 .your public must have been very proud of you. If this is what your ambition is reduced too then you wont be going too far in the pyramid, bottom left hand corner for keeps i think.

And when you were born you ran before you walked! Everybody starts somewhere. Both competitions that you seek to ridicule CCFLT and the GBMT were very enjoyable competitions.

You sound very sad.

In fact Town's have an FA record as the only club to ever win senior level trophies in it's first three seasons. Shadow, I think you'll find that a lot of the slagging off on these forums is actually banter. Many Town fans get on well with Abbey fans and EFC fans. The real slagging off is for Leyton and Lazarou and that is justified in my book. We have achieved a great deal in our first three seasons and how you can say we will finish 3rd this season when it is only half way gone is laughable.

Shadow who has upset you from ETFC?

As ST said you were on here praising us to the hilt during the vase run, everything from how good the ground was to the club shop & the support.

Not that anybody gives a monkeys what a south of the river wannabe hack has to say, but let me tell you the CCFLT was the most enjoyable run of games i can remember, let me tell you the clubhouse at White Notley is better than anything you ever had at Plough Lane, the indoor market at Netherne Village was an original feature & when was the last time you stood in the bar at a clubhouse & were handed a map of the route to take to get to the pitch as we were at Stony Stratford ??!! They also had the best BBQ i can remember since Soham Town Rangers.

We apologise for enjoying ourselves & winning the trophies that are at our level, didnt you have to win the southern league on your way to the premier league??

Do us a favour and stay the wrong side of the river! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

Plough Lane - i remember going there in the wombles first league season, apart from the club house, it was no better than a current ryman 1 ground.

i wish these folks with a problem with ETFC would stop lurking in the Shadows and come and talk face to face, with the exception of HAPPY, we are all human!

ps Happy new year!

Another achievement was being the inspiration for the formation of AFC Wimbledon when their old club left the area.

Or is that TOO local for you after your brain swap with amber necktwat?

Ha ha ha, hee hee hee, etcetera.

I agree entirely - Winning one of the league cup competitions is easy, that's why every club always wins it every year isn't it. And the CCFLT was, I believe, the highest FA competition we could enter that year, as we were not entitled to enter the FA Cup or Vase, so winning that at the first attempt must have been about as tricky as tying your sahoelaces.

Come on, let's be honest, any other club worth it's salt would have won the Champions League in its first three years.

On a slightly more serious note, the public were very proud. Every one I spoke to about the treble season was impressed with the clubs achievemnets and proud that a club in the borough was capable of such things.

Heaven forbid that anyone should type anything in to an internet forum to show how proud they are, though. That's tantamount to not achieving anything of note, ever.

Do I detect a note of sarcasm here ?

The merest thought hadn't even begun to entertain the slightest possibility of crossing my mind.

That Barbie was unreal, well except for you, all the meat come from the local farm i was told, i think they were walking round the farm in the morning!!

That whole day was surreal, we stopped at a garage on the edge of town & asked a bloke if he knew the way to the ground, he said yes and got in!! It turned out his mum run the local shop near the ground & would tell us if we gave him a lift there, so we did. Half time come and i was enjoying a cup of tea in a china cup served by ladies in summer dresses looking all the part as if it was tea at Lords, when the same bloke pops up next to us, introducing us to his Aunties in the tea hut!!

Bizarre!

And you never know what else Puxty stuck down his throat. I remember a greenlights match when the start was delayed as he was eating as he went onto the pitch. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" />
