On the official Ryman League Clubcall line today (and for the rest of the week), we speak Eddie Denton - manager of Slough Town who played a big match in the FA Trophy over the weekend. The interview can be heard by telephoning 09066 555 777 - calls cost 60p per minute.

As Marcus said, I'd rather play Thurrock at home than away - we can do without another trip to/loss in Essex. And if I'm being honest, I'd rather play Thurrock in a cuo match than travel to Yeading in the league, so bring it on.

So we haven't got a bit trip up north - and Thurrock are a very handy side, but the cups have been good to us this season, another home tie and if we want to progress in the Trophy we have to beat teams from a higher level. Bring it on I say

It is an extraordinary record we have in cup draws this season 8 out of 11 at home. Not a draw that would have been anywhere near my top five wish list but we have a chance. I wonder if Thurrock will even put out a full strength side. With the introduction of the play-offs the trophy has become less of a priority for many sides.

Should be a good game as our home record is not too shabby. Obviously your going to be hot favourites but we will just have to wait and see.
