Disappointed

Recommended Posts

Went to the Supporters Club AGM on Saturday and it was both intresting and informative.

I felt disappointed for the Supporters Club committe as we have at least 40 signed on members and only 10 people were at the AGM and 6 of them were committee members.

No one can say it wasn't well advertised as it was in the programme, on posters and on the website. Rant over.

I would like to say well done to the Supporters club and good luck next season.

Cannot wait to raise that £5k for the Cover! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> It's at the end which least needs it but who cares!

Did somebody say cover? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Question is, will it be ready before we're kicked out of Stag Meadow?? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

If you are putting a cover in at the end of the ground, my original offer still stands, if we are still playing at Windsor come the new season.

I am going to resist the opportunity to mock the afflicted.

The trouble with Football AGMs is it is hard to motivate people to turn up for anything in the close season. The t'internet is a weird new fangled thing that many pensioners have not yet got the hang of - so reminders on here only work for people we were probably going to attend anyway.

Your last home programme was three weeks ago which does not help.

It will be interesting to see how many of our members turn up in a couple of weeks.

Doubt you'd get many takers until you'd know for sure where you are playing next season...will be interesting to see just where you end up. I've heard Beconsfeild said no along with Burnham so maybe Marlow? Or Maidenhead? Or Egham!? Staines!? Or of course The Stade De Meadow

Doubt Maidenhead would want to share given the state their pitch gets in with just one team on it; and Burnham have already apparently said no, I think for the same reasons.

Beaconsfield is the second most likely behind Windsor. But we'll be at Stag Meadow next season. 95% sure.
