Sponsor a goal

Recommended Posts

This season, the trust will be running a sponsor a goal scheme aimed at raising more funds to pass on to the club and the community.

The idea is very simple, you simply agree to sponsor all goals scored by the club in Conference, FA Cup and FA Trophy matches, and pass the money over to the trust, either at the end of the season or if you prefer at intervals throughout the season.

The amount of sponsorship can be as much, or as little, as you like, and if you would like to throw in any extras, such as an amount for every hat-trick we would be pleased to take the extra money.

If anybody is interested, please post it here for the moment and we will be in touch with you shortly.

To give you an idea, last season we scored 66 goals in those three tournaments (plus a few own goals) so a 10p a goal spomsorship would have cost you £6.60, and a 50p a goal would have cost you £33.

10p per goal, with each 10p multiplied by the shirt number of the player.

So if the bloke wearing no 9 scores twice, it'll cost me £1.80.

Own goals to be worth £1.

I trust McDonald will be wearing a low number & we don't plan to sign Michael Owen from Real and give him the 99 shirt?

Put me down for 50p a goal, and I'll also donate £10 if Ben scores, but I'll add 50p for every game that he doesn't score in. So if he scores in the 42nd game of the season that'll be £10 plus £21 (42*50p) a total of £31. So keep your boots on the wrong feet Ben, and the Trust benefits!!!!!

Looks like the spreadsheet will be a tad more complicated than I envisaged.

In the next few weeks, I will ask everyone to e-mail me to confirm their sponsorship and how often they want to pay. Until then no-one is committed to anything but I hope that no-one has second thoughts, except upwards.

OK Boys and Girls, if you could e-mail me at info@taxhelp.me.uk confirming your pledges and letting me have details of:

1. Your real name.

2. The details of your pledge

3. How frequently you wish to settle

And I will get it everything ready for the start of the new season.

Thanks for your help.
