Yes....cheers Blair & Prescott.....you moan about binge drinking ( although I must confess I have never drunk binge !), but you want the pubs to stay open for 24/7, but the "professionals" that want a beer for an hour or two can't get one !! Quite brilliant...

 

...but that's life Esther....everyone gets what nobody wants !!

Really sorry about our lovely new facility for away fans on segregated games that has been scuppered by the red tape bollox that is Essex police.

 

They require a seperate license for a small bar that will provide a beer or other alchoholic drink and refreshments to visiting fans not wishing to trek to the few other not so local boozers before the game.

 

The new bar which might be open for about 2-3 hours each week is about 50 metres from our own clubhouse which has two licencees names above the door.

 

I am personally a bit miffed because we have worked our nads off to provide a convinience and pleasant experience to visiting fans whilst trying to bring in a few quid to the club.

 

Where's the bloody harm in that..........??

 

See you all on saturday and please enjoy your short stay on Canvey. Tea and burgers will of course be available but beer and footie on TV will for the time being NOT.
