It was some cup game, he was playing up front and slid into the full back infront of the tunnel on that notoriously boggy (pre pitch improvements)area.

As he got to get up the opponent grabbed hold of him so he threw a handful of sand/mud into his face.

He got sent off for it and banned for 4 games I think, it left us with only Restarick as a fit striker as the other one (Che I think) was injured.

 

Strangely enough Luke "player then ball" Anderson also get sent off in the same game for a tackle so late it was measured in weeks not minutes.
