Taken from the Isthmian site, Peter Foster's football supporting career......

I have "followed" two teams in my life.

1. Romford whom I "followed" from 1965 to their demise in 1978. In 66/7 we won the Southern League Premiership. In 1972 I left home (in Romford) and moved outside the area and as a consequence saw fewer games. So I can't see a lot of support in this case for your assertion.

2. Chelmsford whom I have followed from January 2001 when we were in the Southern League Eastern Division and had been "homeless" for 3 and a half years. Today, we are at one level higher in the Pyramid and are less than two months away from returning home. So I can't see a lot of support in this case for your assertion.

I recall a Peter Foster from our Brooklands days, I think he lived in Romford and was a know all who used to attend home games but never travelled away. When the inevitable crash arrived he scarpered off with all the other glory hunters and was never heard of again. I wondered what had happened to him. (If its the same one)
