Now I'm even more puzzled - without any question, the triple short blast on the whistle is a clear indication that he is not ready for the kick to be taken. To me, he is calling it back for a re-take.

having now seen that it was a shocking decision to allow the goal to stand...the fckn ball was nearly on the geysers head when the whistle goes....and our players are all watching it happen...

 

I hope our league sec watches some of this stuff and maybe he'll understand some of our comments....
