A different crowd theme

Now, on 2nd Jan and by the way a number of chelmo fans seem to be suggesting there is going to be eg 3000 for the game with us. Looks like we had better get there 2 hours early then. Ouch, wonder what the local residents will think when this 3000 crowd descends. Gonna be a lot of car shunting!! Our local residents have been supportive and accepted all of the Chelmo cars every other week - Hope the residents of MP will be supportive of these huge crowds that will be turning up for home games.

dont worry ryan and gazza we have found you a special car park.

Its at kings road school and you will have to arrange a few with the local youths to ensure your cars dont "come to any harm"

Then you have a short walk up north avenue and up to the ground no doubt in your "colours"

good luck

Careful sean, you are painting a grim picture of your new surrounding area. You would not want to put people off from going to your ground and spending money, would you?

Every town or city has its "ghetto area" TTC, and Melbourne is allegedly one such area in Chelmsford, despite the fact it's sandwiched between a couple of very affluent neighbourhoods. However, as is usual, this "undesirable" thing has been blown out of all proportion, and it's likely that both fans and motor vehicles will (probably) be perfectly safe whilst in the area. Fortunately, I currently live 30 miles west of Aberdeen, so will be unable to put it to the test myself until my annual visit to the old home town next year.

Let me help you out of this hole BC.

Since you moved 30 miles west of Aberdeen, which was of course was a very long while ago. Chelmsford has become a very nice place to live, I know this will surprise you, but it no longer has a cattle market in the town, that was transformed into an office world super store, and the rough area of Melbourne that was, has also been transformed, into a delightful, desirable residential area.

It is still sandwiched between the affluent areas of Chignall and Boarded barns estates, which both have good local pubs, the Three Stars and The Barn respectively, although I prefer the Flyer myself.

So when you do visit, don’t worry, the area, and the Billericay supporters are not as bad as Sean would have you believe.

Ghetto area...
