The Legend that is Jamie Southon in Hornchuch yesterday....he said how passionate the fans are at the stadium and his never experianced anything like that before...also saw John Perdie there so we proceded to ask him whether he has seen a crowd over thurrock before !! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />...I for one would love to see him playing over hornchurch again...

May well happen sooner rather than later. Jamie Southon's club Cambridge City are reportedly merging with Cambridge United in time for next season. I imagine a few players could be surplus to requirements if this goes ahead.

i was with kimble in hornchurch when we bumped into jamie,the geezer loves the club and said we was the best fans in non league footy,and he said playing in front of us was like nothing else,then socksy saw him and the songs came out,yes,he is at chelmsford at the moment but he is an urchin and always will be

lets get the man back,at least for next season or one after,he is our spiritual leader
