Second thoughts, I could actually build it in Hornchurch! Rip the sports centre down, get a bit of funding from the council and stick a sports hall underneath a stand and there you go, what can the public moan about!

sorry,and yes i would love to own a football club,i used to draw pictures of how a new hornchurch stadium would look when i was 12-13!20'000 capacity stadium with an 8'000 terraced kop!!

Nah cant do that, all the schools use it in the Summer, and besides while we are sharing with the athletes no other so an so (ie Munchford )can interfere.

Can anyone tell me why we are building Wembley but it will not be the focal part of the Olympics?

I can just see it now, Olympic stadium only 70% chance of being ready!

Agreed kidda, whilst they are churning up the track(and the streets) at least the pitch is relatively apart from some disci untouched.
