Forbsy is a decent bloke. Never really saw the best of him at Canvey because of injuries.

Forbes and Flack looked extremly good tonight, both looked dangerous and good additions to the squad. Both have a good case for starting XI places.

Good work out I thought. Should give the manager a few selection problems of the good variety for Saturday.

 

I'd also like to thank Dagenham, for when they were 2-0 down, they could quite easily have descended the game into a 22-man brawl just because they were losing!

An enjoyable evening without the pressures of points at stake. This Flack guy looks good after his spell on saturday and again last night,(Stevenage)? and Scott Forbes showed a distinct quality. The balls into the box from corners were superb. What it hopefully will do is make everyone really fight for their place in the team. There is certainly enough talent there.

Good to get a result, but even more important was that the players that hadn't been playing regularly came in and did well. We have a lot of options in midfield now, and our attacking options are starting to look bette - thought both Beech and Flack did well, although Beech faded second half.

A very entertaining game. I understand that D & R wanted to look at some players as well but we played so well that they rarely saw the ball.

 

I thought our new players played very well and have given one of those rare headaches this season...who to pick...
