Robbie Kember

We have signed Robbie Kember on loan from Crawley and could be playing in the midfield on Saturday.

 

He is the son of Steve (ex Crystal Palace) and is 24. Apparently he plays a lot like his father did and according to the Crawley Website played in 26 games last season getting 11 yellows.

 

There looks to be a bit of steel added to the midfeld.

The Crawley websites are crap, I cant find any information on the players on either of them. But I know Kember has done well for them since they have been in the Conference, maybe the new manager doesnt like him or he is gaining match fitness. It seems like a very good loan signing anyway.

INJURY UPDATE

- Midfielder Robbie Kember will undergo an operation on Friday to assess his ankle injury.

I remember reading last season in the NLP that Vines brought him in as a SQUAD PLAYER but he turned out being so good that he was a key midfielder last year. He must have been struck by the injury jinx this season.

On the grapevine today,word was that lewes is very very near to where Kember lives thereby his decision to join them. Maybe right, may be wrong, but thats what was said(by an official,not a fan)

Whatever the reason, he's gone now "so we will just have to get on with it".
