How comes all the mid week games? Surly we want to extend our season as far into april/may as possible?! At this rate the season'll be over (bar cups) by March <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

the last game of the season has to be played on the same day at the same time by all teams in the division. bearing in mind the ground shares at tilbury, apsa, barkingside etc. it's a bit of a logistical 'mare.

makes sense for a number of reasons.

 

it stops teams from knowing what result they need before the kick off and so avoids giving an advantage to the teams who play later.

 

also stops corruption in the example of 2 teams who only need a point each to stay up/get promoted who play out a bore draw sending another team down.
