one thing id like to say that really really really dissapointed me on saturday. At the tunnel After the game, Im more than happy to hear the abuse the heybridge players got as they were a bunch of cheats and extremly unsporting through out and got a very lucky victory BUT too see kids throwing stuff at the players was terrible. we cant let that happen at our club.

You poor attempt at comparison does not stand up FG, by exaggerating the throwing of chips paper cups and the like by a few kids into crowd trouble, will fool no one

And you BC, what do you think would be a reasonable punishment for your club?

TC, The suporters from both sides behaved extremly well thankfully. The football players and management team on both sides were a disgrace to football and deserve what ever punishment if any that will be handed out by the FA. I know its the same words heard many of times on our Forums was the officials part that they played. How they can single out just two players, & our manager is beyond me they all should of been charged in my opinion.

Just to add I use the word Crowd as being anyone that pays to get in that makes up the crowd. My enquiry was have you been reported by the officials for the incident. I might add that you chips were always excellant, what a waste!

I think Ryan summed it up accurately in an earlier post. I would think that "reasonable" would include both clubs being eliminated from the ESC (despite the fact that this would leave the 2006 competition in total disarray); SOME players and/or officials receiving match bans (PROVIDED they are the PROVEN guilty parties) and heavy fines for both clubs (perhaps £thousands as opposed to £hundreds). But having said that - as they say in northern England/Scotland "there's nowt as queer as folk (or the Essex FA)", so we'll just have to wait and see.

Only if the referee thought serious enough Tom, I get the feeling as my question was not answered that it was not reported by them and this was a minor incident, if thats the case then then no harm done.

As reported on CCFC Forum kids are a concern sometimes because of there behaviour but they hopefully our clubs long term future supporter as long as they behave in an acceptable manor.

Can't remember what do you charge for youngsters, and what counts as concessions at Billericay.

If anything had happened the officials wouldn't have seen it anyway. They'd showered, changed, had a quick drink in the bar and were well on their way home before the Haybridge players had stopped hugging each other and decided to go in.

When are the FA likely to decide the outcome of the Chelmsford/Braintree brawl?

FG.

Flare-ups are usually confined to the field of play. Supporters at our level ARE generally well behaved, passionate yes, but trouble...no.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought both clubs (Chelmsford & Braintree)were charged, if so, does that not then represent the whole team?

Us....nothing to report, if there had been, it would have been.

Tom just voiced an observation, which is always welcomed at our club. If we can spot and nip minor negative actions in the bud, it will stop potential problems in the future.

BC.

I to wonder what will be the Essex FA's stance. I feel they may take the view that staging a Final is more important than...

FG.

Under 16's are a £1 and concessions (Students and the Older supporter)£5

Thanks also to the entry charges you charge, I'm new on working the turnstiles at Chelmsford and was interested in how we compared. Do you ask for ID on the gate or is it done on the discression of the gateman?

A point needs to made here about the Chelmo incident...

Braintree are 2 zip up anb are prevented from taking a throw in by the members of the Chelmo bench...Why the hell did he not just stand there and cross his arms and wait....if they don't give the ball back, it's their look out. 2 zip down and wasting time by preventing a throw in is a little silly now, isn't it

Tom re "tunnell incident" as far as I am aware there was no incident and I was in the gate/tunnell area along with the stewards ensuring the players were able to safely leave the pitch. If any of the kids did throw anything it must have hit the btfc supporters waiting to say there farewells to the swift players a no objects came over or through the fence. Conclusion NO INCIDENT TO REPORT
